I was looking to upgrade the stereo and now that the kids are older and have their own devices, the small rear screens are kind of not necessary. I was thinking about replacing the headliner to one with just lights to remove the screens. Has anyone done this before? Wondering what brackets need to be changed out? I'm assuming it's fairly straight forward.

As a matter a fact. I just finished doing my headliner with screen delete.

It's pretty much straight forward.

I was kinda forced to do this project when the side curtain airbags went of out of nowhere while driving 20mph.

Broke my headliner in many places. Had to bust out the fiber glass and make some repairs. Decided to delete the screen.

Damn. That's crazy.

Thanks for the info. So you just filled and recovered the old one?
