Hey guys, a friend of mine had a 04 Denali whose air compresser just went bad. Its a DD no towing or heavy loads. We are thinking of getting rid of all the air stuff and doing a conventional Bilstien setup.

Is this doable?
How to trick the computer to not throw a light?
Is the front suspension air too? Will it need to be replaced?

Part numbers? How to's? I did a search but didn't come up with alot mostly on how to lower them...

Thanks,

Bobby

i have an 01 Denali and had a similar issue like yours. i decided to go with air shocks because i didnt want to lose the auto level feature. Denalis have air shocks in the front and back. Bilstien makes shocks that trick the system so a SERVICE RIDE CONTROL light doesnt come on. I just dont think its worth it. I got my compressor up and running for just $230 and just ordered two rear shocks for $400
