I'm wanting to add remote start on my Tahoe, I want to still be able to use my remote door locks, what would be a good system that wont break the bank?

I would do an avital 4103 and use a dball2 bypass. It's an affordable setup and will do remote start and keyless entry all on one fob.

I do it for a living so it's a piece of cake. But honestly it isn't bad at all. The bypass controls the door locks and the immobilized so there aren't many wires at all.

This is assuming its a 03 and up model. If it's a 99-02 it requires a different bypass and you have to wire the door locks to the bcm.

Yea, 03+ is easy. The remote start is the hardest part.... But really it's just tedious and taking your time.
