Remote start

is there a model of remote start that is pretty much plug and play for an 01? or is wire splicing and programming always needed. I did a kit in an old 89 GMC pu I had and was a big pita to splice all the wires.

I haven't seen one that didn't require a lot of splicing. I hope you found a solution to yours.

Not for the 00-02’s. I looked. Maybe for the 03-06, the electronics changed in 03.
