Remote left in vehicle alert when passenfer exits

2016 Kon here...have the remote left in vehicle alert turned on since I bought the truck new. In the more recent months, when just the passenger exits after the vehicle is off and driver stays inside with fob, I get the alert.

I swear that, in the past, if only the passenger exited the alert didn't sound.

Am I crazy? (The only real answers for this is yes...but looking for answers on this particular issue

Idk think it’s an issue as it’s alerts all doors for me

Mine (2017 Yukon XL) does this as well, it also goes off if I get out and passenger (who also has a key) stays in.
