What do you mean by short and long? Because that's why I haven't ordered yet. Because I seen different lengths and I don't know which one I have
By short and long I meant Yukon or Yukon XL. I'm having reading comprehension issues again today and missed that you just want the axle shaft.

GM OE - 22874951
Dana - 2023479
Dorman - 630324
Richmond - 9225173

The 8.6" axles have 30 splines, the 9.5" axles are 33 spline.

If you were to buy a 9.5" axle from a RWD Escalade or Denali, they bolt right up, you don't even have to change the u-joint or shorten the driveshaft.

Oh, the most important number is AAM - 40019701 - That is the original piece in your truck, AAM supplied the front and rear differentials. It is 866 millimeters long. I do not know where they measure from.

What happened to your axle by the way?

If I can get one for $200 I think I'll go that route. Thanks for the information.
