rear hatch not receiving power 93 yukon 2 door

Yeah I just painted the truck we took the doors, tail gate and rear hatch off. I have everything reinstalled but the rear tailgate/hatch is not getting power to the actuator (release for the hatch). I traced the wire to were it connects at the rear end and hooked up a drip charger to the wires to make sure the solenoid inside the actuator wasn't bad and it isnt. i checked all fuses. I was wondering if anyone might know what relay it uses? All of my other door locks and windows work. I tried hooking the drip charger to the wires coming out of the switch on the dash and it would not work either.
