Rear entertainment

I have a pioneer avh 8400 installed with my stock bose still hooked up. There was one adapter i didnt have and it was rcas to headphone jack i believe. My buddy told me that was for the rear entertainment.
The rear entertainment works. But i cant play something in the back and listen to music from the front. Will the adapter fix that?

Probably... We would need to know which exact harness you got and exactly what the adapter looks like to know for sure. But what you're describing sounds correct.

Well i got what i needed and put it in. One of the wires came off the relay and i think i put it back in on the wrong spot. I put it all back together and out a dvd in. Sound came out but no picture on front screen or rear screen. Front screen says can not watch movie while driving. I was in park...

I figured out how to get it to play on the rear screen while i listen to music up front. But theres no sound coming through the headphones. Where the volume knob and stuff is doesnt light up. It looks like a little screen

Ok it does illuminate but its only the climate controls. Still no sound from the head phone jack. I am using regular wired headphones. Also theres no display for when i hit the source power button, scan , program etc buttons.
