That’s a slick looking solution for drawers. I had something like this planned when I bought my first Tahoe, but DPS left the weapon locker in place when they sold it.

I wasn't expecting either set when I bought the Hoes, they were just happy surprises. I was really happy to get the radio console still in Lola.
I wonder how they decide what to leave behind, and who makes the decision. Some have everything stripped out, others leave some good stuff behind.

I think it depends on the agency. Every other agency I’ve seen in Texas takes the lockers out. They usually end up selling for $10-20 because almost no one knows what they are.
Hate to bring back and old thread, but do you happen to know what brand the second locker is that you have? I have the same one and have no clue who makes it, and need some spare parts.

Which are you asking about? The black I don’t know, I never found any markings.

the silver, raw aluminum, one was made by Texas Corrections Industries. Prisoners at Huntsville. They no longer make anything like it, just park hardware used in state parks.

Dang, the black one is the one I have. I was told they are made by OPS but never found one like it either. I really need some of the long gun mounts but can't find ones that would work with it anywhere.
