Making progress towards an electric compressor on rear AC. Most still on paper, though have compressor / condenser worked out.

Compressor is variable speed based on ambient, interior, and setpoint temperatures. Setpoint temperature has output from controller for condenser fan and evaporator fan.

And here's the problem. My 2012 SLT has rear controls, enabled by front controls, that include temperature. I need to seperate the 2 systems electrically and functionally. Year models of Yukon & Tahoe offering electronic controls on dash include electronic controls on rear ac as well. Manual controls on dash are seperate from rear but with inclusion of button that enables rear ac. However, I want to keep my existing electronic controls on my existing dash.

If the rear control were to be unplugged / disabled from front controls, what errors could I expect? Would I be able to use a Tech2 to disable rear ac feature?

Planning on pulling rear ac out of a 2010 yukon to do a mock-up and stress test in June - August. Need to get idea of compressor noise, heat, temp deltas, etc before final placement options are settled upon.

In case you are wondering... I will be using an 11k btu 12/24vdc air conditioning system originally designed for RV. 30A (24v)-60A (12v) draw, 134a refrigerant moved using a bldc scroll compressor. Basically scrapping the evaporator so can use existing rear AC evap & fan. Alternator upgrade is planned as well, 160A to 200A.
