I have not the slightest clue where to start but have been looking at 2 different kits

1. 8 valve kit with notch and 4 link
http://www.avsontheweb.com/product.php?productid=536&cat=505&page=1

2. 4 valve kit with notch and 4 link
http://www.avsontheweb.com/product.php?productid=215&cat=505&page=1

Whats the major difference between the 2 besides the # valves?
Whats the advantage to having 8 valves instead of 4?
Are these good prices?
Are the kits complete or will I need to buy additional parts?
I will be needing shocks soon so if I go with bags what shocks will I need to work properly with the kit?
How hard is it to install the kit, ie...is it a weekend project or will it require shop time?

This stuff sounds like French to me any help will be greatly appreciated :Handshake:

Damn man I can't help much but I would have just went with a 3/5 drop, or maybe even some Qa1 springs, but airbags is def. a steup up from that and will ride better!
Preety sure you will need some additional parts but worst case scenario you will be looking at $2500 otd about!
And yes you will need some shop time as you MAY not e able to tackle all this on your own.

Well quick talkin about it and do it already :slap:

That kit should get you on your way. I'd look into a possible c-notch though incase you want to go lower in the future....

C-notch = the notch they put in your frame above the rear axle housing (it looks like a "C")

I say notch it that way it can lay low............but your floor in the back most likely has to be cut to do it lol.....

Not looking to go all "Trick" crazy and not have my truck for years at a time. I just want to tuck a little tire. Do you think that kit will be everything I need to do so?

Plus whats the difference between the 4 valve and 8 valve?

the difference between 4 and 8 valves is with 8 you can do front back and side to side but with 4 you can only do front and back cus for every one valve that puts air in you have to have another to let it out....but that is a very very involved project, you would have to tub the rear and cut the back floor board up, shorten your rear end.etc. etc. etc. etc its alot of work and will take a few weeks to do, just doing a basic Air Ride Technologies kit on my truck took me 4 days, cus i always run into some sort of problem... but if you were to pay someone to put that kit on your looking around 1500 to 2 grand just to put that kit on if you buy it...avs has good prices tho, but if you want to do something yourself and it not take too long, get the Air Ride Technologies kit
