Restoring a 96 Yukon GT, Trying to identify a cut or torn solid white wire hanging out of the loom that travels along the driver side frame rail from the engine bay. I can see that the wire is coming from there, but the problem is I can’t figure out where it is supposed to connect to.

There is a harness with another solid white wire connecting to some type of solenoid nearby, but that wire is not torn and appears to continue where it’s supposed to go. I’ve checked all the wiring schematics and can’t figure out what this wire supplied.

The PO had bypassed rusted out fuel send/ return lines with a single hose running from the send side of the pump, not sure if this has anything to do with it but it’s the only mod I can see. The lines have been restored but I haven’t had the truck running to see what is not working with this wire being split.

Any help is appreciated.

Please describe where each end of the wiring jacket terminates and exactly where we are looking.. A part number of the harness would likely help also. Does it appear to be an added wire? And what is wire gage? Sorry for all the questions, I don't have the wireing diagrams to look up.
