Rack an pinion

Notice small play in passenger side rock and pinion shaft ,
When I lift wheel off the ground , and wiggle little , this is when I can notice play , maybe 1/8 inch

Mine had this issue even after replacing upper and lower ball joints. It ended up being the large bushing on the rack and pinion unit. I was unable to source a replacement so had to replace the whole unit.
