rear end swap
What did You find out on your swap-out ? I'm about to find out today what exactly is involved as I could only find a four door 4x4 replacement rear to put in my 2 door .

my 2 door tahoe is a '96 and the "new" to me rear is out of a '95 - spring perches and backing plate to plate measurements match ... brakes and drums look bigger though ? 11" drum vs 10" ... shoes are MUCH smaller in the 10" .
