On A 2026 High Country Tahoe do the wipers come on automatically when running into rain or do you need to leave the intermittent switch on to make this happen?

Intermit switch needs to be on for it to work. If it’s light rain like drizzle you might need to manipulate the switch to make it work sooner

You need to put the front wiper stalk switch directly on the dotted - - - - line on the stalk for the auto wiper rain function to work properly if this is what your asking. Speed of the wipers also seems to be dictated I think by your driving speed but I could be wrong.

IIRC the rain sensor in the center of the windshield controls wiper speed based on how quickly precipitation builds up on the windshield.
