Justin probably turned the pin on when he did your tune, and those are the same fans I bought for mine off ebay...wait a bit and he will sell them for $200 every once and awhile. Throttle response is vastly improved and the fans perform flawlessly in 100º heat...my a/c is fanfuckingtastic now too.

Yeah you're part of the reason I'm seriously considering doing this mod now. My truck is still a dog off the line so I'm thinking between the e-fans and an intake, throttle response would be a shitload better.

The house deal didn't work out so we're gonna move in with the in-laws for a bit, which will save us a bunch of loot every month. Pay off some debt then buy some truck stuff.

You should go with a cam and headers if you are wanting throttle response. The e-fans really just make the truck more efficient.

This is something I would like to do aswell. Im new to the site and Im still gathering info. Im a big DIYer. I rebuilt the engine in my T/A so I think this would be a breeze. Just to get this straight, I want any 05+ dual e-fan set up the harness and pulley? Then I need to have a tuner turn the pins on? And possibly drop in a lower temp t-stat? Do I have is pretty much covered?

I wouldn't worry about tstats, just make sure your charging system is up to the task.

X2 I wouldn't worry about a t-stat, if anything, just an OD pulley for your alternator, or a larger alternator.

you can always pull a tape measure on it...

another questions guys. can you get a different size belt and disconnect the clutch fan from the belt completely? seems like this would completely eliminate the drag on the belt
