Getting ready to buy a 2014 SSV, was a former fire chief truck. Any idea what they were used for?

The disc looks like an antenna mount.
That was my thought as well. Thinking the power inlet may have been used for a float charger, but not 100% sure. Hoping someone else has dealt with these. Most of the add-on equipment was removed already by the current owner, but may re-install if that’s what it was.

Hard to tell from the pic but if it's an NMO antenna mount you can get a rain cap for it on ebay or Amazon. Or, add an antenna. My SSV came with two NMO mounts up top. One I capped and the other I use with a stubby GMRS antenna. Ham antenna is on the front fender.

Ok, so I found the answer to the round disc on the side of the truck. Under the hood I found a module that was disconnected, but not removed and when I researched the module, it was an rf transceiver for an exhaust system for in the garage bay. The disc is for a magnet to attach to to hold the exhaust tube over the pipe until you drive out of the garage.
