Hello, I'm wondering if someone can identify what this plug is for? I heard a rumor (YouTube comment) that it's for a battery isolator.

it doesn't go to anything. whatever it did go to or whatever it is or was originally intended to go to was deleted by gm.
this comes up from time to time.
I suspect at one time it may have been intended for a reservoir coolant level sensor but does not reach and some years do not have the sensor either.
or as mentioned could have been intended as a sensor for the ac pump, some pumps have the sensor and some do not, some years use a sensor and some years do not.
there are a multitude of ac pump versions out there, if yours ever needs to be replaced match it up visually otherwise no telling if you get the right one or not.
only some gm engineer that is probably on his death bed knows for sure.....

Hey all, firstly I apologize for the late responses, I forgot I even posted this and the app didn't notify me that anyone responded. Anyhow, I appreciate the input from everyone.

First: Is it a diesel? Why the battery there?

Second: Looks like the pressure switch plug, like @Fless said and looks like end of existing switch is taped over.
It's not a diesel, it's a just a 2nd battery because I have (it came with the Tahoe) a sound system and an HID conversion kit. Yup, existing switch is taped over.

Aw man, that's a bummer. Wish I could read the schematics to maybe find out as well. I have a random YouTube comment saved (on someone's video about doing a 2nd battery) that says the plug is for a stock isolator, hence my asking you guys for help. I wish I could find a gm guy who's been there for like 40 years and knows, haha.
