I hate this thread... I keep thinking someone is gonna chime in and say "Hey, I have an extra cam - Anyone want it?"

So I check it every day... I hate the fact that I missed out on the deal of the century - This thread must DIE!

Supposedly the guy is out of them now. We bought 'em all up. Maybe we'll get lucky and he'll find some more. Mine (round 2...first one didn't work) is sitting a box waiting to be installed. Was too busy to do it yet.

Working on install number 2. This one works, so that's a bonus. Wired to fuse "ignition 3" so it's on when ignition is. My wife decided right in the middle of running the wires under the door sills that she had to run an errand, so I'm at a standstill. Should be cake from here, although I'm going to need more wire but of course can't get any until she gets back. Sucks being down to one functional vehicle.

My 2 just got here a couple days ago, must say for $30.00 that's one helluva camera and screen. Resolution could be better on the screen but it sure looks clean in the dash, I might run it through the deck instead.

Hey Denali, dare I ask what happened to the first one? Was the monitor the broken part, cause depending on the connector from the camera, and if you've still got it, I might be interested. Thinking this thing could get wired up to my F700 instead of the little monitor it comes with.

Monitor and camera both work. It worked correctly, very briefly. I think something blew in the control box. It's the only thing I can think of. Second one works fine, although I still have to finish wiring it all up. Which reminds me I need to go get some wire....lol.

I think I'm going to keep the camera, because I can already see that getting damaged accidentally moving things in and out of the cargo area.

Do these things have fuses? Mine isn't turning on for some reason.

I found out that a good ground is key for this thing to work. How are you testing it? Mine is working just fine without a fuse. The way I have it wired, I think the reverse light draws more amps than the camera anyway.
