Yes, I used the Duplicolor brush on kit. Just followed directions. I borrowed a set of jackstands so I could do all four at once. Then, since it required multiple layers of paint, I started on one caliper and worked my way around the truck. By the time I was back to the starting point, the paint had set up enough to start the next coat.

Yeppers, that is the kit I used. Worked fine....

I just painted mine today, use Duplicolor Gloss Black paint with 3 coats.
I also prepped with 95% Isoporpyl alcohol to degrease and clean real good!

Adding to the bandwagon... the Duplicolor brush-on kits are mint... and last quite some time. The Spray-on caliper paints dont last more then a year with still lookin good.

Your other option is Powdercoating but that gets pricey.

I did mine on my old Durango. Masked off everything I didn't want painted, cleaned them off, threw a sheet over me and the hub so I didn't get overspray on the ride, put on a mask, sprayed with regular white primer. Let dry, hit with Duplicolor spray paint. No fancy caliper kits. Looked fine, however the Durango got totaled the next winter so I have no idea how long it would have lasted. looked good though

I've used the duplicolor kit before, worked well. I really want some of these 8 piston vette brakes but I'm still on the edge about grinding the face of the caliper down so it doesn't say corvette...or just painting them all black. I guess it'd be chill if the truck made 600whp. I say get the duplicolor kit and dial them up in blue, should look nice esp behind some new wheels

My Durango was about the same color as your Kon. for kicks I tried one red and one a lighter blue. I actually liked the red, really stood out, but my wife hated it so I went with the blue. It was a lighter blue, about the same as in your flames. I think if you can get a close match to the light blue in your flames it would look sweet.

yea, with the variation of blues, I think the blue will fit better than the red...so ordered blue kit today...

I just painted my calipers last weekend. I opted to go w/ G2 Caliper Paint as it holds up better than the Dupli-color. G2 is a little more money but it's definitely worth every penny. I did my calipers on my Tahoe & TBSS (w/ Dupli-color in Black) and had to do them again within 2 years. The black was re-done w/ Dupli-color paint.

Someone in the nnbs section posted an eBay link to some caliper covers. They eliminate the need to paint calipers. I'm going to pick up a set soon.
