Painted interior pieces?

Has anyone painted the fake wood interior pieces. I'm thinking about painting them black and leaving the stainless pieces.

I have seen it done and I think it looks good. I will be doing this in the near future on my tahoe.

The black looks nice ...

The carbon fiber this guy is selling also looks good ... I didn't even know you could get it in that color. :think:

Thanks bro. Mine was going to be like the 2nd pic but I like the 3rd better. I'm going to see if I can add the middle piece.

Awesome mod! How did you get all those pieces out in order to paint them? Are they just held in by tabs I guess? That's a big improvement and most likely pretty cheap I'm guessing :)

Sorry it took so long to respond. I just took two very thin flat head screwdrivers and pryed them off, it's not too hard but the radio bezel is held in pretty damn good. Obviously just don't beast on them and snap them, the long one on the dash is the flimsiest (sp).

:waytogo: thanks for the info! I'm guessing you just paint them like you would any other plastic? :) I may add this to my list if 'mods to do' :)
