In the process of converting over my PPV and got a new Overhead Console but I don't know what this switch is.

My assumption is that it is for the back glass, but when I press it, it doesn't release the glass. I can only do that via the fob or switch at the tailgate.

Seperately, I for the life of me can't get it to open my garage. What am I doing wrong. I've tried the learn function on my garage door and also tried the remote.

TIA

The button is for a power lift gate, not the glass hatch. Do PPV units have power lift gates?

That is what I thought, but in my searches I found different switches, which made me question it. Wasn't completely sure.

Yes, the standalone switch in the photo is the power lift gate switch.

If your garage door opener is just a few years old and has a yellow wire for an antenna your garage door opener is not compatible. I speak from experience!
