So far no issues i should have put cardboard down behind
But i got lazy.
And yes I will get to all the chrome eventually..

The grill turned out better than I imagined it would.
Hmmmm..........checking prices right now on dip.

hey guys.. brand new on here, but i dip alot of stuff on my yuk xl and other cars i have. you do have to be careful to block off behind the grill or even the wheels so the rubber doesnt get in the radiator or the calipers etc.

looks good OP!

Thank you xtreme, So far so good Just washed the truck at work with some heavy duty
Wheel cleaner and a power washer not a chip not anything.
Then ran it through the carwash at work also And it has a little wheel scrubber and nothing they came out clean and still intact.

Dipped door handles, all badging around truck and the roof rack just the chrome part.
I cant stop with this stuff and now homedepot sells it AHHH i need Dippers anonymous...

Looking at your pictures I noticed that your vent caps are black. You see them black and body colored. Does anyone know what determines if they are body color or not? Is it an option?

looks really good, I'd be very interested to hear how this holds up long term. I have my grille painted on my yukon xl and its already starting to chip, but its not plastidip.

I dipped the emblems and bowties on my wife's Tahoe a few months ago and they are holding up great so far. I dipped the factory 20's about a month ago and so far, so good
