I am so confused. I have a little bit of money and want a couple of different mods for my Tahoe.

First, I was thinking about lowering the truck. I would go with the 2/3 belltech kit.

Second, I was going to replace the CD player for a better aftermarket one. Currently have the stock bose system. Sounds pretty good. Just wanted something a notch better.

Third, I wanted to buy a better set of wheels and tires. I say better because I will have to buy used. Looking for some stock style 20's. Currently have stock LT 17's with good tires.

I really want all three but that is not going to happen. In everyone's opinion, what mod would ya'll do first? I only ask because I cannot make up my mind. It's driving me crazy.:Stupid Me:

Just wondering. I saw a set of rims near me for sale at a good price. They are boss wheels. Only thing is they are in black w/ polished lip. My truck is bermuda blue, not sure if they would look good with my truck. Although, I can always paint them later if I don't like the color. I attached a pic of what they look like, but the ones I am looking at are 20. What do ya'll think?

IMO black rims on a blue truck do not look good and BOSS rims are not good quality.

I also agree that rims would give you that new "Feel good feeling" going down the road as people take a good look. You may want to check the for sale section here on the site, there may be some nice rims still up for grabs in there...

As already stated, wheels and tires first!
And no to black wheels on a blue ride.

Yeah, I didn't think black wheels would look good. But I was thinking of having them powercoated another color. Not sure if it would be worth the money.

i wouldnt colormatch your rims...to me that seems a little ghetto. black rims only work on black, silver, and white trucks, everything else should be chrome imo. i even was on the fence about doing black on my white truck but i saw another truck around town that was black and white and lt looked good. chrome will look great on the blue, its a classy look, u cant go wrong!

Yep def go with wheels/tires. If I were you, I'd use something like CL over Ebay...better chance to see rims/tires in person, less chance of getting ripped off. I speak from experience here. Buying rims/tires used can be risky, so a good inspection prior to the sale is really important.

I found a couple of factory wheels on CL that I really like. Only thing is one set is a hour and a half away and the other is three hours away. What makes it worse is they both are really good deals and won't last long. I work 6 days a week and have a family. Makes it really hard to find the time to drive and buy. Might have to take a road trip w/ the family.

Are you stuck on stock 20's? If not, I'm sure there's a ton of nice 20's available in Jax. If so, yeah, they're a little harder to find, but do your best to be patient. I just sold mine and it was a PITA, which means you'll find them eventually!
