opinions on esky rack... pics

ok i swapped them over.. my original plans with the rack was to have it painted when i paint my ss bumper, roll pan, and grill shell that i need to put on.. now im not so sure i even want to mess with it.. what do you guys think??

tbh i kinda like it with out the rack, you really don't have any chrome in your theme overall, besides the bumpers... either go chrome wheels/handles give it some contrast if you want to go that route.

I agree man, my intentional plan was to paint the chrome black. I have parts to replace the only chrome on my truck, but the more I look at it, I kinda like the naked look. Never have seen it with out one before..

Im leaning towards just selling it.. i dk im goin to drive it for a while before i make the decision. I dont want to ruin the value of it by painting the chrome and still not likeing it!

Just spray the chrome using white plast dip that way if you decided to sell you could just peel it off. I think it looks good as is but, curious to see it white or black itll probably flow better on your truck.

I've seen people just wrap their roof racks all black with vinyl and it looks just as good. You should do that. Or all white even.

ive been needing to do some color matching for some time! i have a ss bumper, roll pan, and diferent grill shell that all need painted and put on..

I agree with the peeps that say it looks better with the racks. I'm a fan of the "slick top", but I like how it looks with those racks. That said, if you decide you DO want to sell them, PM me and let me know what you want for them. I'm looking for a new set on my Yuk.
