Onstar antenna

Someone stole my radio antenna. I'm wondering if I can tap into my onstar antenna since I'm not using it. I'm getting used to the look of not having the radio antenna present.

I am fairly positive that will not work. You can lay the antenna down inside the engine compartment. There is a thread on here somewhere with pictures.

Negative. Onstar antenna is solely for Onstar. In later years its onstar and XM.

Just find you a new antenna, that can't be tough at all. Then as suggested, do the antenna delete mod. Simply lay it down under the hood. No change in reception.

ya, doesn't work for me. I'll post my results in the tech section in the hidden antenna mod thread. I ended up just putting another antenna on and now the truck looks ugly bc I got used to it not being there.
