they changed in 03 so you need one from nbs-00/01/02, not sure if obs-99 would work or notRpo code NP8 transfer case (active) push button control 2spd
IIRC 98-02 is the interchange. 03 and up no dice.they changed in 03 so you need one from nbs-00/01/02, not sure if obs-99 would work or not
that round tag can come off sometimes, especially if it was already replaced or worked on
i have seen parts listed like before but gm had there head up there butt during that changeover so when i had my 00 I learned pretty quickly to order for 01, the 03+ stuff looks pretty close but won't fit, I was told some of the 03+ transmissions can be swapped if the bell housing is swapped or something? just what i was told onceIIRC 98-02 is the interchange. 03 and up no dice.
I learned the hard way completely opposite of your situation. I had a 99 GM Sierra SLT Z71 and it had the Vortec 5.7L 350. I had to order parts for a 99 K1500 or I would end up with the newer body style(at the time) parts like different suspension and even engine (LS Style) if I even thought about ordering for a 99 GMC Sierra Z71. 99 was a screwed up year for GMC because they made both body styles (generations) that year. Old model had 3 doors and the newer model had 4 doors.i have seen parts listed like before but gm had there head up there butt during that changeover so when i had my 00 I learned pretty quickly to order for 01, the 03+ stuff looks pretty close but won't fit, I was told some of the 03+ transmissions can be swapped if the bell housing is swapped or something? just what i was told once
