oil and Hard Water Paint fade repair

I decide to doing something about my hard/rain water /motor oil paint fade

socal water is not the best so the paint seem to have hard water deposit and motor oil water deposits

so it has a thick layer of hard/rain water and motor oil deposits


I did the top of the door jam to compare


I used nu finish scratch remover lightly with a micro fiber i did the hood and the upper 1/2 of the driver and passenger door



you can see the hood has a nice mirror finish and the fender has a dull finish

also the other photo compared to the untouched roof and to the door frame
