2016 Tahoe faded paint on hood and top

In my case, I was told by the GM dealer that did the repaint the paint was/is delaminating. They had to completely strip the hood and roof to the metal and repainted.

I have a good friend with a black 2016 LT Tahoe and hers is doing the same thing. Sucks.

But I’ll add in simply because OP mentioned it in the first post that the Tahoe gets waxed only once a year?! What are you using on it that once a year wax job? Because of its not a thick long lasting sealant or a ceramic coating, that wax is not going to last anywhere near a year and you’re not doing yourself any favors to keep the finish of the vehicle in good condition.
