Out of the 2 which do you guys prefer? To have a lifted or street modded kon out hoe? I'll say I like the off road look but have mixed feelings about both.

I agree with "if it's a two wheel drive" , kind of.. for example 6+ lift on a 2wd is not my style but something small like 3-4 inch lift and I'm good to go.. really depends if you're ever gonna need that extra clearance...

I like the look of lowered trucks on the street. I like lifted too cuz I can just drive over stuff. I could probably do more with a lifted truck.

When I was younger I always wanted to have a lifted truck. Then when I turned 18 and lifted my 01, loved it. But the novelty wore off pretty quick.. Now I have a NNBS lowered, and love it so much.

6" lift on 35", 2/3 drop on 24".

Now I will always lower whatever I own :)

On NBS I think lifted looks better NNBS can go up or down. End of the day go whichever way you like. I am 9" over stock in the front and 7" over in the back and would never do anything different.

My opinion: it's a truck, does no good if you can't drive over things. We go off road around Moab utah a lot so lifted. If strictly a street vehicle, well I can see lowering it , but at that point my buddies say just get a minivan lol. Silly marines.

I owned a Ford 4x4 SuperCrew before my Hoe. It was leveled. Not lifted. I Like both but Im not a fan of the 5 foot lifts. No one ever ever EVER needs 9 inches of lift unless all you do is a mud bog or something. 3-4'' is about right. Some trucks look sick just level out. But Im a go fast kind of guy. So I like the lowered look too. Although I am from the south and in Alabama I do get looks for being lowered haha.

If you've ever off roaded before you'll regret lowering your truck some of the time...
This happens to me.

I tend to stick with:

4x4 = Up
2x4 = Down

However, a massive lift that isn't purpose-built (i.e. SAS, lockers, etc.) makes for a pretty useless vehicle. My 3/4 ton Burb is on 33's and is pretty worthless when it comes to "real" offroading, but can still get me through some mild terrain that lowered/2WD stuff couldn't.

My 1/2 ton Burb and BMW are slammed, though, so I guess I have the best of both worlds!

I have yet to see a tahoe/yukon lowered the way I would like it.......that is not to say that it can't be. I had a 96 S-10 (back in 96) that was lowered 5-6. I was one of the first people with that body style to lower mine in town.The thing could drag a pack of cigarettes across a parking lot if you ran over them. It was fun, for a short while. I ended up getting a daily driver. I now have a Yukon XL with 33's. I find it to be way more practical, and way easier/fun to drive.
