no ac on dashboard vents just blows in defroster

hi, I got no ac on my 2001 GMC yukon6 slt 4x4 dashboard vents just blows in the defroster and on ceiling vents. still very cold. any ideas? thanks

Sounds like a blender door issue, and there are more than one. Please provide more details on the truck (year, etc.)

Do you have a Tech 2 or equivalent? If yes, @swathdiver may be able to assist you in troubleshooting.

Like @Joseph Garcia said, need some vehicle info and if you think of it, you can put all that in your signature like myself and @Joseph Garcia have done. That way it is there each time you post and gets that info needed out of the way. Does sound like a blend door actuator though.

If I remember right, may be able to disconnect battery and wait for a few minutes and see if resets. If @swathdiver chimes in he will get more technical about it all though.
