Just purchased a 2007 Yukon Denali, However the vehicle did not come with the map disk. Is there anyone that can help me get ahold of one for cheap or even let me borrow one just for the install. (If thats even possible) I'd be willing to give some sort of collateral just really dont want to have to buy if its not necessary.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Unfortunetly, I think you will have to buy one. The oem navigation units in at least the Tahoe and Yukon, require the disc to be inserted at all times for any navigation functions to work (map data, poi's etc...). The data does not actually install onto these units other then the interface changes from one version to the next. Therefore, you will have to actually own one to get what you want out of your navigation unit.

There may be some members here that would be willing to sell you their old discs, but eBay is your friend! Look around there and you can find some fairly good deals. Just read the descriptions to make sure they are legit, and of course, the sellers feedback is positive.

Any version disc should theoretically work for you, but note that there are some interface changes throughout the different versions/years. The most recent is 6.0.

Here are a few to get you started:

Quick eBay search for disc: HERE
Version 3.1: HERE
Version 5.0: HERE
'08 Version: HERE

Sorry I can't be of more help, but I hope that will at least get you started on the right track! Good luck!!
