I have been reading this site for some time now and recently decided to join after I replaced my 01 Tahoe for a 2008 black on black LT3. Hope to post some photos down the road but not until spring time until I get my wheels put on..

Btw.. I worked for Chevrolet for 15 years and recently started a different career path roughly 6 months ago. Still, nothing beats a Chevy hands down for better or worse

Again, thanks for the replies and I enjoy reading the posts here on this site. As for me, this is my second Tahoe and I had my 2001 LT for 11 years. Generally speaking, I did put two new transmissions in my 01 but I think the having 20 inch wheels with the wrong tire sizes may have contributed to that by changing the transmission shift points. As I noted earlier, I actually worked for General Motors and Chevrolet for 15 years in sales prior to my new profession. It's possible I am brainwashed but I firmly believe there just isn't another SUV out on the market that can ever begin to compare with a Tahoe or Yukon though I prefer the BOWTIE...........
