Hey everyone, I am new to the forum and picked up a nice used tahoe a few weeks ago to cart the kids around in. I am used to driving my lifted truck, so I had to do a few minor mods to change the tahoe a bit. Let me know what you all think.

They are fine...I bought a set of 3" keys for the front with shock extenders and a 2 inch rear block from Supreme Suspensions on ebay. This is the first Chevy I have owned, so I had no clue where to start or what to expect. My truck is a Ram 1500 with a 6" lift and 35's , so it is not quite as big, but I really like it! I was going to go with a 6", but decided to keep it mild. I am glad I went with the Cooper's for shoes...I like the way they look on it!

I leveled my 03 tahoe just like this and put Mickey Thompson Baja Mtz 315's on it. I also took off the running boards which makes it even more badassern'shit. IMO

Looks good though

They are Cooper Discoverer STT Tek3 33x12.50/17

Thanks for all the comments guys!

I swapped out the tails with some smoked LED tails and was thinking about putting smoked headlights and smoked fogs. What do you all think and any other suggestions on stuff to do?

I know this has been beaten to death, but I have to ask. Do you rub any? Do you think that a Cooper STT 35x12.5x17 would fit with minor trimming of the inner liners? Or are the 33's really close now? Truck looks awesome BTW. Oh, and what wheels do you have?

No rub except when I was backing out of a driveway the other night and had my wheel cranked full to turn and even then, it was not much.

You know I'm usually not much of a fan on lifting (beyond a leveling kit) the short wheel base NBS rigs, but I like what you got there. Real clean, and yeah the Coopers do it justice! The whole wheel and tire combo fits it really nice.

Really nice looking truck you got there.
How did you get the chrome on the sidemoldings and chrome bumpers black?
