New owner here and wanted to say hi. We just picked up a 2025 High Country Tahoe 3.0 diesel. We live in the Houston area, but had to purchase the vehicle in Florida. Glad to be a member of this group, I've already picked up some good information.

Welcome aboard!! I really wanted the baby Duramax for the impressive fuel economy in our High Country but none was available when we purchased a couple months ago.

It’s kinda crazy that you had to travel out of state to find your vehicle in Florida especially since our trucks are built right in your own home state of Texas in Arlington. I also had to go to Florida for our purchase to find a dealer who would give us a good deal but it was only a couple hours drive from home.

I think you'll like your new vehicle. The first things I did was permanently disabled engine Stop-Start and the Daytime Running Lights.

Welcome, my fellow Houstonian! New rig looks amazing and the color is spot on! I'm a bit biased though as my Denali is the same color. :)

First mod should be ceramic tint for all windows, including your windshield because it's heating up fast and it makes a huge difference.

Welcome from FL (where you just bought your Hoe lol)!

Small world, I live in Crestview!!

I similarly had to travel up to ATL to get my HD. I wanted specific options and my local dealer (Allen Turner coincidentally) didn’t seem eager to request a trade out of state, tried to push me to buy something they had on the lot, so I just made the trip and got what I wanted.

Does the emissions sticker under the hood say anything next to "CA" or "California"? It looks like this. I'm trying to figure out if a non CA spec duramax is compliant with CA emissions
