They look awesome. I have read on here that the turn signals are louder on these. Is that true??

Yes, When standing behind my truck and unlocking or locking the doors, you can definitely hear the turn signal switches in the tail lights. Not a big deal for me...

it's not bad... plus you are in the car when using the turn signal...

exactly. The only time I hear them is when I'm opening the rear hatch, since I'm standing right there...

BTUCK: I think the G4 are the ones that are diff. All the rows of led's are lit up all the time and i think they only have one led side bulb. The G5's light up just as the Cady's oem do.

FACEPLANT: They are a lil louder but not so extreme. You won't notice unless you pay to much attenbtion to things!

What's the difference in g5 and g4? I want to put some on my '09 joint

G5s are suppose to be exact copies of Escalade tail lights that are plug and play for the tahoe but if you look closely, the tail lights come to a point and don't exactly match the applique above it. G4s are similar to escalade tails but match the applique and light up a little different than the G5s/Escalades.

Robert, those look great! I really like how the g5's light up and the extra LEDs they have. I just did g4's on my Tahoe. As others have said, you should do the appliqués and it will transform and complete the look!
