Well I'm a member over at FullSizeChevy, and love it. I stumbled upon this forum today, and being dedicated to just us SUV's I figured I'd join and see what its all about. I live in lincoln, ne, 1999 Tahoe 4wd. Lowered 3/4, Titan 18" wheels, blah blah blah. Here are some pictures..

Well I've never been on GMFS, but coming from FSC i already have a preconceived notion of GMFS. Seeing as you are an administrator I'll keep my mouth shut lol.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I'm hoping to see a lot more SUV specific mods, ideas whatnot. Hopefully I'll be able to contribute as well

Welcome to the forums Husker! I have an account at FSC but I don't frequent there or GMFS that much at all. I have found this forum to be home. More applicable obviously being SUV only and I like the atmosphere here more as well. I hope you find it to be the same! Your OBS looks good! I quite like the Titan wheels.

Oh, I honestly have no opinion to GMFS. But I've been on FSC for quite a few years now, since I had my first truck, so that site is home to me. I hear a lot of the guys on FSC flaming GMFS so therefor my opinion is FSC rules, GMFS drools...lol. Just your typical "mine is better then yours for no reason other then its mine"

Welcome to the forum. I am over at FSC also.

'Hoe looks good. Do your tires sit outside the fenders at all? Can't really tell from the pictures.

If you look at it from straight on the fronts pudge out maybe 1/4in past the front fenders. Nothing really noticeable from 5 feet away, but they would never tuck. I wish they were set in more (more positive/negative offset, heck idk)

I paid $200 for the set, so it doesnt get much better then that. I'll take less then ideal for that cheap!

HaHa
More positive offset would be needed.

1/4" isn't bad at all. What size tire you running?

Welcome, I always like to welcome converts :)

Actually, I'm proposing something with Shaggy on laying some groundwork which I hope will bring together a tighter community for all our online truck forums.

The dedicated forum is great! We kicked around the idea of pushing other trucks here but in the end we decided to limit to Tahoe/Burb/Denali/Escalade (did I get em all?) and it's worked out perfectly!

Not sure how FSC works exactly but we do have a few very simple rules we instill in everyone to uphold with us: no ****, no nudity, no member bashing. Simple and effective!

Welcome again
