the rear drum's have never been off the truck... it has 128k miles.. what is a good puller to use to try and break this rust thats binded to the hub? ive tried everything including a 10lb sledge and this bastard isnt budging
X2^ on checking to make sure your shoes are retracted. Running the adjuster all the way in through the access hole on the back plate. If you force it off without having the pads in all the way you will end up needing a drum brake hardware kit as you will probably damage something removing it. However ive had a rip one or two off because of inoperable drum parts. 2 decent pry bars and slowly work your way around the drum so you dont cause additional binding.
