The Tahoe is my third Chevy and the fourth in our Family.
My wife has a Venture and I had a Blazer K5(CUCV) and a C30 Silverado before I bought the Tahoe.
My/our other hobbies are our three Rottweiler.

I‘m in the South of Germany it is called Baden-Würtemberg. My town has the name Schwetzingen, it is near Heidelberg and Mannheim.

Beautiful area of the country around you. I have spent some time in Schwäbisch Hall and drive through your area to and from Frankfurt. Loved visiting the Porsche and Mercedes-Benz museums in Stuttgart.

But the good times of german cars are over. Maybe the cars are made for museums
They are so expensive and the parts too. But there is no reason for the price.
I was in the USA 2007 for visting my brother, he moved 2004 to Austin TX. I told my wife that THIS is MY home, but she wants to go back to Germany........

Oh, there is so much.
The Frame is cracked in two areas, the front hubs, master break zylinder, brake booster, catalytic converter, distributor, ICM, ignition coil, 4wd switch, actuator and rust.
The preowner spent not much Money vor service, but for garbish.......‍
Now I have a problem with the drivetrain, but this will be my first technical post in the right forum.

I was in Europe in the mid to late seventies and I remember the guys that shipped over their "Yank Tanks" had a real problem when trying to get parts for their Fords, Chevys & GMCs. Has an American Car Dealership opened in Germany they are not telling us about? Where are you going to get all your parts?

BTW, I was born at Heidelberg Hospital back in the late 50s. I still have my German birth certificate. I usually use it when I want to freak someone out or just piss them off. I get like that sometimes...not often, but a bender is a bender. Aloha!

Thats funny to make that with the birthcertificate
There are many guy who wants to earn a lot of money with US-Car-parts, the biggest dealer is Mike&Franks and Kemper Parts.
I order my party at RockAuto, it takes 5-6 days for delivering to Germany, thats okay. And the Parts are still a lot of cheaper than Parts for german cars!! Crazy!!
