New RST. Did a lot of research and test driving, and the Tahoe came out on top. I was going back and forth between the Tahoe 5.3, Duramax or Wagoneer. I'm hoping I. One thank ca. Make it to the 200k club someday.

Welcome! Nice pick up!

If you’re shooting to make it to the 200k club depending on your driving habits I would suggest following the “severe” maintenance schedule.

I haven’t seen the service manuals for the ‘21+ models, but I’ve had great luck with the GMT900 and K2XX platforms following the severe maintenance schedule. Each run up to 152k+ (and counting) on original engine transmission differentials and transfer case.

Nice truck!
So is it the 5.3l or Duramax?

If you bought it new change the oil at or before 1000 miles! I have always done that and think it’s definitely worth doing on all new trucks.

I have the same vehicle, even the same color. My improvements were to permanently disable engine stop-start to extend engine life and improve safety. The daytime running lights have also been permanently disabled.
