Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

I am new to the forum and decided I would like to post up pics and info on my newly lifted 03 Tahoe.

I am deployed to IRAQ at the moment so my wife thought it would be nice to have my truck lifted for me before I got home.

it was a toss up between 24's and a lift. lift won. I got it; its a 2wd eh oh well. It's all I have.

I plan on doing a black grille with white emblem and MBRP cat back with intake when I get home.

Looks really good but IMO it might look better with a white grille and black bowtie.

thats what I was originally thinking but It is hard to find a a white grille, like the one on the z71. Oh and yes the badges are for sure leaving along with the rain blockers.

You can't paint your existing grill white I you want. Not that hard and you can do it yourself :D

My GP is almost completely stock other than a street scene grille and tinted out. I'm trying to not put much money into it :D

If it was a toss up between 24s and a lift you should have went with 22's on some 35s and a lift.

I got to go home on R&R from iraq for a couple weeks and got to play with the tahoe. I cleaned her up, removed badges, installed the MBRP catback amongst other things. But mostly, drove her.

the install of the MBRP was very easy and I am very very very happy with the sound.

Nice dude!! :waytogo: I've been tossing around getting an MBRP system for my Burb. How long did it take to install?

man it was so easy to do. it took me about 30 minutes and I am not mechanically inclined. The hardest part about the install is dropping your spare to take out the stock pipe. The sound is perfect to. quite rumble at idle and nice and powerful at high RPM's. Easier to install than the intake.
