I have '08 Yukon Denali with the Bose Nav system with the rear seat entertainment system. I created a MP3 disk to play in the CD player. Thing is that the disc does not play back music properly. It is constantly skipping. I have a Cadillac that plays the disk just fine. Took it to the dealer and they said that I had a problem with the disk even though I told them it plays fine in my Cadillac. I have tried recording the .mp3 files with different bit rates along with constant and variable bit rates. Anybody have this problem?

Thanks

Well, the nav systems between your two said vehicles are pretty different. I would say that it is just a picky MP3 decoder. It probably requires specific encoding settings to be able to play them properly.
