I am looking to change my struts on my truck. It has the autoride suspension however I have 2 choices. Either to keep the OE Monroe w/autoride which is around the ball park of $500.00 or Bilstein which is $100 less ($400.00). I want to make this a good decision, so I want to know what experiences if any does anyone have w/the air ride Bilstein? I did like the Monroe shocks on my truck as the shocks kept it smooth and kept the wheels in contact with the road....

Any and all input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!.

Kind of confusing description. Struts are located up front and autoride is in the back. Also your sig shows an NBS SUV and you are posting in the NNBS section (2007+).

Do you want to replace (front, back, both) and what year Tahoe/Yukon do you have? What type of ride do you want and is the truck stock (or planning to lift/drop in the future)?

IMO Bilstein 5100 series shocks would be my suggestion for stock or leveled height. The guys with drops can chime in.
