I'm guessing he means use the first post as a grand total, continuously updated, but the in thread posts where you note where you stop, put a total to that point.

1996. Everything under the hood has failed at least once except for the engine itself. Even flooded during Hurricane. Damn thing started right up after a 3 day dry out. No problems.
