Hello, trying to replace the MAP sensor on my 21’ Tahoe/3.0L Duramax. Can’t seem to locate it on the engine (up top). Mechanic friend told me it is located near the DEF tank towards the rear of the vehicle. Severely confused. Anyone replaced one of these that can provide guidance? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

It's located on the driver side toward the back of the engine. This video will show you where it's located.
It definitely gets dirty and is worth cleaning every ~20K miles.
