As I've mentioned before, my 4WD doesn't work in my '03 Yukon. Fortunately, I purchased the extended warranty when I bought it. Unless the warranty company denies my claim(not likely), they're going to replace my T-Case with a reman GM unit. They said the clutches are worn out in the case. It's an NP246 Auto-Trac.
I'm really glad they're replacing it because on top of the 4WD not working it was leaking, and it looked like the previous owner had the dreaded "pump rub" problem and had the case patched with JB Weld or something.
What it looks like to me is that the T Case started having problems so the previous owner slapped a band aid on it and traded it in.
