Looking to buy an Escalade what year?

Hey guys, my brother and sister in law are wanting to get an Escalde EXT but aren't sure what years are good or bad. What's the one to get? Seems like I was told a while back that the '02 maybe '03 models had some issues. I know my neighbor had to replace his engine at 65k rounds on his '03. Any thoughts would be great, thanks!

2001-2002: Older interior and has 1.5 DIN radio spot, you can change out dash lights with LEDs

2003-2006: Newer interior, Lights in dash are not replaceable easily, 2 DIN radio

I was kind of wondering if the 05+ would be the way to go. They won't be doing any modding or anything like that though. They are just looking for a nice stock, decent mileage (50kish) truck.

2005-2005 cause if they are leaving it stock it will have Navi+eFans

I'd say 2005 and up.. I have a 2005 and love mine!
