looking for a 2 door tahoe/yukon

well i found a couple of tahoes one is a 96 loaded lt has 158k but the guy says it needs intake gaskets hes asking 2500. the other one i found is a 99 but its a stripie model no options floor 4x4 shifter but it has 190k on it for 3500 . It does have a/c and the guy says it use to be a parks rec truck and it has a better tranny in it from the factory. any way of looking up to see what options it has ??the vin is #3GNEK18R1XG143111. Any help would be great thanks

Neither one of them are worth it, they are New England cars and both are rust buckets for the same money a non rusted out truck will cost you. Go get yourself a truck from the south west, the first time you have to remove something and it just comes off you'll thank yourself.

About 16-17 on the hwy, 12 in the city. These things aren't suppose to be "green" vehicles.. How ever on a trip to Florida some years back I averaged 18.5mpg after a fresh tune up and air cleaner change..

Its a hell of a lot better then what my truck is getting. I'm only getting 12.9 mpg. Doing 60 all highway

Retorq Not all trucks out here are rust buckets. You definitely have to look it over good.

I was going to look at that one but the guy beat the hell out of it off road. it had bigger tires on it before and has been on craigslist for the last couple months.

i would suggest anyone looking for one start with the 1996 models which have a vortec engine in them. at minimum.
