Im finally getting around to putting new wheels and tires on the hoe.

For the wheels im looking at Liquid Metal- Gatlin 18x9 -10mm Offset

For the tires Im thinking either:
Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ Radial Tires 325/60R18

325/60/R18 Cooper Discoverer STT E BLK

bfg mud terrain 305/60r18

BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO Tires 305/65R18

I plan on putting lift/level kit on with 3" keys in the front and 2" coil spacers in the back with new Bilstein 5100's all the way around.

What do you guys think? will the tire sizes be ok? I dont know about the offset and back spacing on the wheels, its all greek to me. Thanks

Jus a lil info since u want a -10 offset wheel with a 305 or 325 tire on keys/spacers, you may scrub the bumper corners or the washer tank. It will look good but I prefer not to rub any.

i just put on 305 55 20 with nitto trails on 9" -12 OS and they scrub really bad without keys/spacers. wish i had gone with a 0 or + offset but im hoping to fix next week the ebay keys/spacers.
I personally dont care too much for the all black wheels even more so the flat black. also go ahead and get some 20''s only a couple hundred more.
Check out rimzoneonline.com they are also on ebay as RimZone, i have have bought a few sets from them and they are great ppl. look at what they have on ebay or you can call them and they will get whatever package you want.

Thanks for the input guys! While I do agree that 20s arent that much more expensive, i like the balance of tire (sidewall) vs wheel with the 18s. Samtman18 thanks for the link to rimzone, except you made it even harder to make a decision now.lol. :emotions122: They do have some sweet deals on there.

The wheels look cool and those Mickey Thompson bajas look badass. I know they can perform offroad but not sure how good they are on road.

They sucked IMO but that was mud and the wear was very odd. could have been a bad set, I got them real cheap because another guy got them and took them right off cause he didn't like the ride. I hear great stuff about them, my time with them was not so great, then they got slashed and the emergenct set (sport king AT) sucked also. I have run a few sets of procomp and love them.

Don't know if this helps or not because my Jeep only weighs 4000 pounds, but I've had two sets of the MTZ's in 315/75/16 (35's) and currently have the BFG KM2 in the same size.

The ride was real smooth with the MTZ - didn't feel like a mud tire at all. The only down side for me was I only got about 16,000 miles out of each set. I live in a small town, so there's no highway miles there and it took me about 2 years for them to wear out each time. But I didn't feel like dropping ~$250 a tire every 24 months.

I've got 4-5000 miles on the KM2's so far. I went with them because I was looking for a little more tread life in something that will still crawl in the rocks. So far I'm pleased - they are showing a little wear, but not much. One other thing: I feel those knobs every time I slow to a stop. I'm guessing it wouldn't be as noticeable on a Tahoe/Yukon.
