Lighting Questions. HELP!!!

So a coworker of mine has a 99 Yukon Denali. They they want to get new headlight housings as the current ones are shot. There is no resurfacing them. They are deader then Jimmy Hoffa. (sorry. Jersey joke) I’m looking at different housings that some say 99 is the last year. Others say 00 is compatible. Basically as far as her vehicle goes what are my “cushion” years that will fit I guess I’m asking. Or do they come is different shapes her year and need to see what her current shape is? Cause I see some
“L” marker housings and others are straight. Help me out guys. Thank you.

Honestly i really like the stock ones, they only ran that for 2 years for the 99 and 00 if the suv was not so old i would have bought one so it's quite unique in it self

I was gonna go stock. I just grabbed 2 random pics of what says fits. But 2 totally different shapes. So I have to check her shape and see what she has. And like I said. I wanted to know my cross-years that fit. So only 99-00 correct?

Yes. She does have the L shaped corner lights. So what are my years that I’m safe with?
